What is PMU Codec in the hikey Schematics

Hey guys,

I am trying to understand the hikey schematics and I found something like PMU codec.

It has a main mic, speaker etc connections.
But I am unable to find anything in the hikey board.

What exactly the pmu codec is?

In most phone chipsets the audio codec ends up integrated into the power management chip… Hikey uses the PMU for power management but the audio features are not connected to anything (hence you can’t see anything on the board).
