The process stops with sparse file ‘15’ out of 16 and does not continue even after waiting for an hour. The problem occurs while using the fastboot method:

I furthermore checked the integrity of the downloaded image file by using: http://builds.96boards.org/releases/reference-platform/debian/hikey/16.06/MD5SUMS.txt
The md5sum from the provided text file and my downloaded image matched. The integrity check was successful.
