Working on setting up time synchronization between RB5 and Ouster Lidar.
Upon checking we found that the ethernet doesn’t have support for Software transmit(Tx). Hence we are not able to setup software time sync.
Ethernet device: USB to Ethernet driver AX88179_178A
This LINK suggests that, it can be solved by modifying the driver.
I’ve tried flashing both Qualcomm and Thundercomm LU images.
Questions:
- Is there time synchronization support on RB5 dev kit?
- Is this a driver limitation or hardware limitation?
