Plans for THOR96 Mainline Support

Is there a plan for mainline kernel (and U-Boot) support for the forthcoming Thor96 platform from Arrow/NXP?

Thor96 upstream support is on my TODO list. Will try to get to it soon and update this thread.

Has this made any progress? I’ve not seen any support in recent mainline releases. We’d like to use this board in our work but we’re hampered by a lack of software support.

From what I can see the support has been available in the mainline kernel from v5.6 onwards:

arch/arm64/boot/dts/freescale/imx8mq-thor96.dts
