Dongle or Set-top-box

Hi all,

This is my first post and i am quite desperate for a solution.
Are there are reference designs that can help me create a prototype of a streaming dongle or a set-top-box using dragonboard?

I haven’t tried it myself, but I have asked around and I have been told that Kodi works well on the 410c. You will need to load the 410c with Android (it ships with Android installed so there may be nothing to do for this step). Next you need to download the Kodi.apk file from Kodi.tv and side load it into the 410c with “adb install”.

If you ever notice stuttering, audio but no video, or poor video playback, this will usually fix your issue.
System > Settings > Video > Acceleration > Turn off “MediaCodec” HW acceleration.
