Wifi bit rate limited to 1Mb/s

Hi there, I am using snapdragon 820. When I connected to an access point I saw the reported bit rate is 1Mb/s.

iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

wlp1s0 IEEE 802.11 ESSID:“Vantage”
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.462 GHz Access Point: 52:3E:AA:E9:D5:C0
Bit Rate=1 Mb/s Tx-Power=20 dBm
Retry short limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Encryption key:off
Power Management:off
Link Quality=66/70 Signal level=-44 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

enP2p1s0 no wireless extensions.

I have read other posts that suggests actual rate is higher than 1Mb/s. However, when I created an access point on dragon board using hostapd and streamed FHD@10fps video from an USB camera using gstreamer, on receiver side the framerate is only 0.5fps, which shows the connections is at extremely low speed.

I wish to know if there is a solutions for this issue?

Kind regards,
Fang

Which snapshot are you running? Could you please share your hostapd conf?
