I am planing to buy "Dragon Board 410c development kit"(https://www.96boards.org/product/dragonboard410c/)

Hi,

I am planing to buy “Dragon Board 410c development kit”(DragonBoard™ 410c - 96Boards) .

I have some Queries…

  1. Does it support 4G LTE ??

  2. Will you share the source code of base-band processor ??

  3. What kind of S/W support you are offering ??

The Dragonboard doesn’t have a modem… for 4G (or any other G) yyou will need a broadband dongle.

Software support depends to some extent on which OS you choose, all have fairly broad hardware enablement although there are some subtle differences when you dive into fine detail.

Hi Danielt,

it seems from the data sheet of 410 “https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/processors/410” there is support of 4G LTE.

Many Thanks,
Arun

410 is a chipset family, rather than a specific part. Some of the family
members do have modems but the DB410C does not.

Do you have any development board for 4G LTE snapdragon based ( preferred 800 series ) .

Hi @Arun_Kumar

To gain access to a chipset that has 3G/4G/5G from Qualcomm, you will either need to work through a Qualcomm licensee, or become a Qualcomm Licensee. The chips that we make available to the open market and on development boards do not have 3G/4G/5G capabilities.

Full disclosure: I am an employee of Qualcomm Canada, any opinions I have expressed in this or any other post may not reflect the opinions of my employer.
