Difference between Rock960 and Rock960C?

Board based on the Rockchip RK3399 - ARM Cortex-A72 Dual-core up to 1.8GHz + Cortex A53 Quad-core up to 1.4GHz

What’s the major difference in Rock960A/B vs Rock960C in the baseboard and the Expansion connector?

Is it possible to test the dual MIPI camera in Rock960A/B/C board?

Rock960A/B

  1. RAM: LPDDR3
  2. Wi-Fi: AP6356S
  3. eMMC: 16GB/32GB
  4. HS expansion connector can be configured as :
    i. 2 x (4 lane MIPI CSI) and 1 x (2 lane MIPI DSI) or
    ii. 1 x (4 lane MIPI CSI), 1 x (2 lane MIPI DSI) and 1x (4 lane MIPI DSI)

Rock960C

  1. RAM: LPDDR4
  2. Wi-Fi: AP6255
  3. eMMC: None(eMMC module)
  4. HS expansion connector can be configured as :
    i. 2 x (4 lane MIPI DSI) and 1 x (2 lane MIPI CSI) or
    ii. 1 x (4 lane MIPI CSI), 1 x (2 lane MIPI CSI) and 1x (4 lane MIPI DSI)

From my understanding, the above changes are the major difference in Rock960A/B and Rock960C model board.
Is this right or did I missed anything?

You are right. Although, there is only 1x4 lane MIPI CSI on Model A/B boards.

That covers all the major differences.

Additional one:
The GPIO on rock960c is changed to export 8ch PDM Mic Array, so slightly difference here.

By default one 4lane MIPI CSI is available for ModelA/B board in the right side of HS expansion connector.
But on another side, 4lane MIPI is configurable as CSI/DSI.

So is it possible to configure this as 4lane MIPI CSI?

Thanks Hipboi.
I found your answer from another post
For AISTARVISON MIPI adapter we can use only 1 x 4lane MIPI CSI in Model A/B board.
But if we go to the custom adapter, then we can use 2 x 4lane MIPI CSI in Model A/B board.
