This worked!

python hisi-idt.py --img1=recovery.bin resulted in a “Done” and an automatic reboot to fastboot mode.

fastboot flash loader l-loader.bin followed up by all of the remaining items (ptable, fip.bin, nvme, boot, rootfs) all flashed normally and as expected.

I powered down the board, removed jumper 3-4, and powered it back on. After a moment, I was greeted by the login prompt.

Logging in via SSH here are the results:

The *debian_88.img have no 88_boot.img .
Build you your own boot image ?

Ok evtl. is my short question to short.
Someone knows what i mean?

@davidt :slight_smile: I’m not. I just have the privilege to follow the development of this board from the beginning. Glad you got it to work anyway, and thanks for helping to test the various combinations of images to see which ones work.

I mean the linaro-stretch-developer-20171109-88 packed
Found no boot image.

Have install
hikey-jessie_alip_20151130-387-8g.
There run the mali 450 driver and i found 54Ghz Wlan Router.
But it freezed after booting. :frowning:

Then i have used the
rootfs-linaro-stretch-developer-hikey-20180212-17
and it works for me.
Only the Wifi dosn’t work and restart ever time.

@seq110011 Right, https://releases.linaro.org/debian/images/developer-arm64 (where *debian_88.img is located) is where generic rootfs images are published so there are no associated boot images. You can use the boot images from http://snapshots.linaro.org/96boards/hikey/linaro/debian/latest.

15.11 images are ‘old’ and have to be ‘matched’ with compatible (old) bootloader images, as mentioned in comment #9 above.

For wifi issues in rootfs-linaro-stretch-developer-hikey-20180212-17, sorry but I’m not familiar with it. Perhaps you can try searching other threads in this forum for related issues to see if anything helps: hikey wifi site:discuss.96boards.org - Google Search
