Build Debian for 410c

I am trying to learn how to build Linux (Debian) to run on 410c board.

Following the instruction in : Build & Update Linux kernel for Debian/OpenEmbedded - 96Boards

But failed in the Step 2 : Install Required Packages

  • E: Package ‘kernel-package’ has no installation candidate

I am running “Debian9.8” on Host machine

AFAIK this package is not mandatory for the way the kernel is built and installed.

But this seems to be a known issue:
