Yes, it is because I didn’t connect to the monitor. Because I modify the kernel a lot and I can’t use adb and touch screen at the same time, so I used Vysor instead of monitor to check if the modified kernel works properly. This method is useful for kernel 4.9, so I assume other versions will be as well. I should be more explicit about my running environment. Thank you very much for your kind help!
