After installing QT 5 the Linaro OS no longer boots past the login screen

Hi,

While attempting to install OpenCV 3.0 on this board a required dependency is qtbase5-dev. After installing this package and its related dependencies the main login screen has changed and requires me to type in the default password.

I then proceed past this screen by typing in the password but then this “All shell packages are missing” error after a Plasma KDE logo shows up:

I am able to access the terminal via (Alt+Ctrl+F1) but have not been able to proceed past this. Please provide any help you can as I really need to fix this issue so I can use the board.

Installing the kde-plasma-desktop fixed the issue.
