Is there a 3g dongle support on 410c ?
Providing the 3G dongle is USB class compliant it has a good chance of working out of the box on Debian and can be configured using NetworkManager. That said, for some devices there may be additional steps need (USB mode switch or usb-serial driver configuration).
In principle it should also work on Android but so far I don’t think anyone here has ever offered a clear report of success (or failure).
Target OS is Android, wondering similar approach USB mode switch and pppd chat script would be feasible. If so would Android be aware of the network connection ?
It might not be aware when the link comes and goes (android hacks the network stack a little to allow it to switch back and forth between wifi and cellular) but if should work.
